Accountability group: Once a week, you will meet together with one or two other students as part of an accountability group. This environment is a platform to share with each other the things that are on your heart and – what’s worrying you, what are you thankful for etc are. It should also be a time when you confess your sins to each other, pray together and let God’s light shine in your lives.
Reflection time: Whoever lives without reflecting is like a person who eats without digesting. During your time at the BMS you will experience a multitude of new impressions and situations, which makes it all the more important to take the time to reflect and meditate. The weekly reflection time offers that possibility. You can go through certain topics for yourself or write down an encounter with God in your diary. Practical work: The BMS may suggest a B for bible and M for Missions in the name, but what you will be involved in goes beyond that: A for admin, C for cleaning or D for design – all these things could well be part of your BMS experience. Once a week, you will be given a practical assignment. Your work keeps the whole school ticking over nicely, and keeps the place tidy.
