God’s word has power… Together with pastoral and leadership partners, we have put together a lesson plan that should give you a good biblical foundation and prepare you effectively for evangelism and missions.
Lessons You will have 12-15 hours of lessons a week. We aim to place an emphasis on teaching the bible in the same spirit as it was written: These lessons should strengthen your faith, reveal more about God’s being and act as a compass in life. Some subjects will be taught topically, others by focusing on a certain book in the bible.
Methods In addition to lesson content, we also want to place an emphasis on teaching you various methods, which will help you to study the bible by yourself and evangelise and pass on God’s word effectively (inductive bible study, sermon preparation and communication, developing evangelistic strategies etc.).
Study tasks Once a week, you will be set a study task. These serve the purpose of further studying specific lesson content, the monthly book (see below) or a certain bible passage.
Books Every month, there is a selected book that every student reads. As well as being inspiring, these books are also informative. The books will cover topics such as identity, church, missions, church history, apologetics, leadership, world religions and more.
Language studies During the first BMS block, you will have language classes once a week that will help lay a foundation for the 3-month missions trip.

Dominik (20): "The lessons were a great help in developing a solid theological foundation… They were diverse, informative, natural and inspiring. What really excites me is to hear biblical truths and then store them in my heart. It was also good to have different teachers with varying styles. The study tasks were challenging and furthered my thinking." |
