We love young people and want to help you to grasp everything that God has prepared for your life. Every one of us has their unique story with God and we want to pass on what we have learnt to you. So, here they are, the team:

Gernot & Sabine Elsner
"We’re Gernot (32) and Sabine Elsner (33). Together, we have two beautiful daughters, Noelia and Talisa. We want to help you to develop a firm biblical foundation, whilst at the same time practically learning to do evangelism and missions. It fills us with joy, when we can contribute to you burning for Jesus and when you learn to give yourselves to his kingdom’s cause."

"My name is Birgit Kissling (33). I find it fantastic that Jesus is still speaking into and changing people’s lives today. I have a passion to walk alongside young people in their search to have a healthy and deeper relationship with Jesus. I also want to help and serve disadvantaged people groups, and share the love of Jesus with them."

Justin und Rawan Shrum
“We are the Shrums, Justin and Rawan. We moved to Germany in 2010 and are pioneering a ministry called the Justice Project, a ministry that is focused on combating Human Trafficking and forced prostitution, locally and internationally. Along with our work against Trafficking, Justin is teaching at the BMS and Rawan is involved with mentoring. We love to see young people awakened to know God and to dive into the adventure of following Him!”

Julio Mazara
“I am Julio and I come from the Dominican Republic. After living a very ungodly and criminal life God reached out to me and changed my heart and my desires. My heart burns for Jesus and for evangelism. I am passionate about discipleship and being part of God's work in drawing young people into an intimate relationship with him. I am also the founder and leader of SAETAS, an evangelistic training ministry based in Barcelona.”

Susi Dahm
Hi! My name is Susi. After two years of being a BMS student myself I decided to come on staff. God has changed my life, my character and my heart. Now I felt it was time for me to pass on what God has invested in me. It is my heart to help young people to develop a passionate relationship with Jesus and to teach them how to use their gifts to reach people with the love of God.”

Lukas Kniess
“My name is Lukas and my passion is Jesus. I am currently working as an intern at GOSPELTRIBE in all different areas of the ministry. What I love most is to discover together with other young Christians the beauty of Jesus and to make God known to people who don’t know him yet.”

David & Justyna Patton
"We are the Pattons, David (27) und Justyna (22). Justyna is from Poland and David is form Ireland, so together living in Germany as well as frequent Short term Missions to different countries, we form a truly international couple! We are both involved in Worship as well as other areas ranging from teaching to cooking. Together we have a heart for training young people, bringing out their potential in Christ and together reaching the lost." |

Reina Roth
“My name is Reina, I am Dutch and I am married to Heiko. Together we have two wonderful children, Sarah and Matthias. My ministry at GOSPELTRIBE is to support and enable others to go and teach and learn and tell about Jesus. I have a passion for Jesus, my children and my husband, encouraging people, gardening and living 'Fair' in God's creation, not necessarily in that exact order... :-).”

Andy Owen
"I’m Andy (25) and am involved in the areas of PR, website and teaching. So, why GOSPELTRIBE? It is my desire that the BMS students learn to love God with all their heart, AND all their mind. Briefly about myself: I’m half American, half Swiss. My wife Melanie and I have been married for two years and have a lovely one year old son called Nehemiah." |

Claudia Finkbohner
"My name is Claudia. During the last millenium, I spent many years working as a bookkeeper. Now, I'm also doing that with GOSPELTRIBE. I love my husband and two boys, classical and film music, creativity, photgraphy and the general pleasures of life."

In addition to our full-time co-workers and teachers there are also a number of pastors and missionaries who contribute to the lessons on a regular basis. When inviting guest speakers, we make sure that their personal lives reflect the content of their lessons. Here are a few names of regular guest speakers: Roland Werner, Chris Breuers, and Jeremy & Angela Perigo.
Discipleship is important to us…
During your time at the BMS, we don’t want to just be your teachers, but we also want to accompany you on a friendship basis and help you to take steps in your calling and personality development.
