How the bible school year is structured… Your BMS year is divided up into three main blocks: Block 1 and 3 take place in Karlsruhe, block 2 in another country. Usually, you will discover the destination of the 3-month missions trip shortly before the school starts.
Block 1 - Karlsruhe (Beginning of October till the End of December) Block 2 - 3-month missions trip (Beginning of January till the middle of March) Block 3 - Karlsruhe (middle of March till the beginning of July)
During your time in Karlsruhe you will have the opportunity to take part in weekend outreaches, prayer nights, and evangelistic events, in addition to the regular school programme. You will usually have two free weekends a month.
Over Christmas and Easter there are two weeks of holidays, so four weeks in total. You also have the option of staying in your room during these holiday periods.
At the end of the school year, you will usually have the option of continuing to live in your room for three further months. We are always grateful to have people who support our summer outreaches or who are able to continue the local ministries here in Karlsruhe. A longer-term involvement with GOSPELTRIBE is also possible once you have completed the Bible and Missions School.
A regular week… “Your normal BMS week is made up of 12-15 hours of lessons, evangelism, prayer and worship times, study tasks, practical work and fellowship. Occasionally, we adapt the weekly schedule to fit in a special highlight.

Johanna (20): "What really excited me when I first heard about the BMS was the fact that theory and praxis are combined so well… The duration of the mission outreach was also important for me, as it offers a great opportunity to gather hands-on experience. God clearly showed me that the BMS was the place for me to be – and I can totally confirm that!" |
