Being where the people are… Our base is there where the people are: Go out of the door and you will find Italian bars, Turkish jewellers and clothes shops, gambling halls and a homeless hang-out – all only a maximum of 50 metres from our house.
Here in the south of Karlsruhe is where most of our students and co-workers live. It is only a 5 minute bike ride from the station, state house and city centre. The city itself is full of quaint cafés, parks and cultural diversity. This exciting mixture of people and cultures offer fascinating opportunities for conversation and meeting people, and all that just on our doorstep.
The lessons, prayer times and special events all take place in the facilities of the “Treffpunkt Leben” church. Most of the students make there way there by bike, but there is also a good train and bus connection.
Karlsruhe, a city with a vision… Karlsruhe is a sun-drenched city with around 290,000 inhabitants. Over the years, many ministries and churches known beyond this region for their conferences and retreats have started and built-up their ministries here.

Jasmin (24): "The BMS is unique in my opinion! What’s also cool is that it isn’t on top of a lonely mountain somewhere, but right in the middle of the city, where the people are." |
