Taking responsibility… Generally, the second year is structured in a similar way to the first. However, the biggest difference is that you will be actively involved in supporting and leading areas of GOSPELTRIBE and the BMS.
Here a few potential areas that you could be involved in: co-leading the 3-month missions trip, leading an evangelism group, planning and leading outreaches, taking devotions and lessons, housekeeping responsibilities etc. This enables you to experience and fulfil those tasks faced by ministry pioneers, all in a protected environment.
As GOSPELTRIBE leaders and co-workers, we want to support you and help you to reflect on what you have learnt in a weekly feedback meeting. We also see it as our responsibility to accompany pioneer teams or new ministries that develop out of the BMS. We pray that over the coming years God will call many young people who will carry the gospel into the world and start up new ministries and churches.

Dominik (20): "My time at the BMS has contributed a lot to my awareness of my calling. On the one hand, many things have developed and on the other hand new things have been added. A defining experience was the outreach group in our neighbourhood, where I found out what it was life to start something from scratch. […] I feel called by God to live in fellowship with Christians and non-Christians – and to really live out what it means to be a follow of Christ. Basically, this has a lot to do with discipleship."
